If there is one thing I am certain of, Summers are meant for us to spend our days soaking up the sun, and swimsuits are to ensure that we look good doing it.

I cannot remember ever being as excited as I am to wear a swimsuit than I have been this season. I am pretty sure going to Jamaica, a tropical island, for vacation has a lot to do with it, but I am more certain that it is because of all the really cute swimsuits that I see everywhere right now. Have y’all seen them. Anyway, since I can’t buy them all, I’ll do the next best thing, tell y’all about them. But before I do that, I want to spend some time talking to y’all about self-love and acceptance, and to start that conversation, I want to focus on being body positive.

I am happily a size 10 (sometimes an 8 depending on the brand). As a pear shaped woman, I am thicker at the bottom than the top, and I more than okay with that. I love my legs, thighs, and my butt (yep, I do). However, with being bottom heavy, cellulite is a reality for me. I remember when I wouldn’t think of wearing a swimsuit without a cover up, but now, I care less about my cellulite and more about acknowledging just how great my body has been to me, and I can’t let a few dimples in my thighs keep me from soaking up all the Vitamin D this melanated skin can handle (using sunscreen of course). So with that, I say to y’all, be kind to yourself and buy the suit!

So let’s get into this Cupshe bikini that I fell head over heels in love with. It’s wildly subdued, you know what I mean? Wild because of the leopard and subdued because of the high waist. Now, if I haven’t told y’all before, I love anything leopard and the fact this this bikini top has the ruffled cap sleeves and the tie-front orange bottom made adding this to my Summer Swim Collection easy. Plus, for me, a high-rise bikini is a mom essential especially when it comes to covering the areas that have seen more action than others.

This bikini is perfect for those who want to ease into something fun and appealing at the same time. Plus this color combination of leopard and orange make this bikini difficult to ignore.

Not only does it allow me to walk with confidence; it’s absolutely gorgeous on me, and that my friend, is the goal.

I don’t want to give y’all the impression that this is the only swimsuit I bought because that is not the case. I actually have four others that I will be rocking this Summer because I plan to spend as many days outside as I can.
